As was brought up at the meeting, Brian Williams suffered a major fire at his home last night.

Some members wanted an easy way to make donations to Brian and his family through the club, so I will handle it though the club's paypal account.

To send a donation, go to paypal and send money to treasurer@toyotacrawlers.com
PLEASE BE SURE to include "donation for BWilliams" in the subject line so I know which payments are to go towards him

If you don't want to deal with paypal, you can send me a check made out to "Northeast Toyota Crawlers" and mail it to
Rob Tracey
336 Shirlwood Dr.
Schenectady, NY 12306

I will cut Brian a check for the total amount of what we collect

Please donate what you can, I'm sure any amount is much appreciated.

Jon is this Brian that worked with you? The one who just bought that house in 2010?

Doesn't matter which one it is, it sucks. Let him know we are here for him if he needs anything.

Jon,

I didn't see anything on the NTC board, but it may be in the member section. Being the victim of a fire myself in 2009 I can completely sympathize with everything Brian and his family are feeling. I know money is always a huge help, but is there anything else they NEED? You said they have young kids, how young? I have two twin size bed frames they can have if they want them. It's winter, so does the family have an immediate need for clothes and/ or jackets?

They're going to have a million and 10 things to deal with in the immediate future, so if I can help make that easier for them in anyway, I'm more than happy to do what I can. Give Brian my cell number, even if it's just to vent his frustration. This is a WONDERFUL community, with HUGE hearts, that will do anything to help one of their own. I can speak first hand to their generosity, and get choked up a bit even now thinking about it.

I'll be mailing out a check for the total amount Monday. Support so far has been great!
