Very soon I will be posting some more details about how to sign up and use the Association's group discount.

RLTC is an online, work at your own pace course. There are 10 modules and each module can take as little as one hour to complete.

The course is designed to help you and your club or association, or even your event, get the most of out of volunteers and your efforts. From basic supervision of volunteers, to planning and meetings, safety for off road and even a little environmental compliance.

Successful completion of the course enters you in for a grand prize drawing and some great deals from sponsors. I completed the course and selected my reward - I saved shipping and got a great discount on an after market front bumper I was going to buy anyway.

The people who previously signed up in the thread here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2201&p=26406&hilit=rltc#p26406 don't have to sign up again but are encouraged to complete the course!

I opted for a pretty nice tire repair kit. The grand prize at that time was a WARN winch.

Is there a limit to how many members can use the discount?

I don't believe so, in fact I think the more the better.

I am working on setting it up so NEA member clubs' members sign up, they sign up with the NEA, pay the NEA and then we sign the student up with Del.

A little birdie told me we could subsidize just like we did in 2008ish. If a member isn't going to participate solely for financial reasons, they will have an opportunity to let someone know and work out an agreement to allow the person to take the class. (That means if you take it and the NEA helps pay, we want you to use it in the NEA!)

Updates are in process, coming very soon. I'll have sign ups ready for this weekend if everything goes smoothly.

Interested but $$$ was my concern

I'm interested, I probably have a few members who will be also depending on final $$'s.

I think we're looking at $60 per person. I will post up as soon as it is confirmed.

I need some feedback from the officers - no rush today - on how to sign people up when we get there.

It seems like there's other details to work out before cross posting to your clubs.

$60 is a great bargain!

I wouldn't limit it...only because one of our goals is to encourage involvement from everyone, namely new people who aren't already over-committed or burnt out like many club BOD members. This course is great for people who want to step up and get involved but might not necessarily know where or how. I think you'll find alot of the stuff is very basic...just presented in a way that you might never have thought of applying it.
