Better today than yesterday, but still way too slow. "Feels" like a network issue.

While waiting for this thread to load one of my cats died. Good thing though she has already been reincarnated as an owl. So it didn't take too long to load :\

Forum and main site are in fact...slow. Maybe it is from the overwhelming traffic.... ROTFL.

It's hit or miss for me. Looking at our bandwidth there doesn't seem to be anything out of whack. My guess is a new site got added to our shared server and is probably seeing a lot of traffic.
It would help me, help the web host diagnose the issue if you could post up the times it's super slow.

It's doing it right now 10:52 a.m.. It has been doing it for the past 15 minutes and every time that I've logged on over the past few days. I've been giving up most of the time.

Over the weekend I encountered an error message while attempting to post a reply in the thread.

I cannot remember the exact verbage but something along the lines that the connection to the server was lost/disconnected.

Prior to the message the forum was very slow.

After the connection the forum was running normal speed.

Not sure if this helps or not....I know during the past week a major data server line was severed in Boston that effected a lot of different networks, including our network here at work

Same issue as Scott which is why one of my posts was duplicated. It said it timed out so I clicked the back arrow to repost and then I guess it double-posted.

I was still getting the issue that Rafikie and I were having a couple weeks ago too but that seems to be resolved since Saturday.

That could be it Scott because that is about when it started being slow. I know everything else I access online hasn't been affected by speed.
