Anyone want to be on Television?

Postby Paul » Wed Mar 04, 2015 5:50 pm

Hello,

My name is Kate Carroll and I am the producer at Original Productions, a television production company responsible for creating such series as Deadliest Catch and Ice Road Truckers.

We are looking for dynamic candidates for an upcoming off-roading show - we're rebooting the series with a totally fresh take. We'll be following several two-person teams in their off- road vehicles (Jeeps, Land Rovers, and Land Cruisers mainly) as they take on a variety of terrains, specifically mud, rocks, water, and sand. We're looking to film for a month this summer. Would you happen to have any club members (men and women alike) who you think would be interested in participating?

We would like the candidates to be have their own vehicle and to be able to fix their own vehicles during this expedition. Both need to know how to use a winch and we'd love to know what kind of competition experience each has. We'd also like them to send along pix of themselves with their vehicle, as well as their ages.

Would love to hear back from you ASAP. Please let me know if you have any questions, thank you!

All the best,

Kate

Yes, but they also tend to make them wealthy!

Too bad taking the summer off is not realistic for most people . . .

I don't think they would hire anyone with intelligence, mechanically incline, or a sound rig. They made that mistake last time out with Carl and super jeep. Their looking for folks more inline with the crackhead brothers they had on last show.

I don't think it's the same production company.

Anyone have more info on this at this point? There is no way a month off work is going to happen but I am still curious to know what they are up to.
