When I first read this, that was my first thought. As it unfolds, though, the owner is bragging on his facebook page about another on in the trap. He's out there himself, wheeling his side by side, trespassing. Comes across the Jeep and then calls the cops to report him, knowing they will call his company to extract him. The same place his daughter got stuck in his ford truck.

Fox has run another story on it, reporting his line items are possibly outside of the norm. A line item on the $48k bill is for a supervisor at a rate of $1250/hr. One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars per hour. The industry records rate of up to $375/hr.

It took them 12 hours, 7 men and four trucks to pull a Jeep out of mud where the front tires were stuck in it.

Alas, wheel alone, without proper recovery hooks - it's gonna suck.

in my mind it all starts and ends with the illegal wheeling. by trespassing he lost the right to choose how his rig got out.
