i am very new here to this forum and club. but i have read so much and heard so much about this group from other places and forums. i wanted to know what all do we have in the maine area. just wondering because it would be great to get something going. im looking to help you guys out and wanted to see if there was anything up here in central maine. like waterville,augusta,bangor area where there was some help needed ?
any help,direction would be great thanks guys.

Welcome! Maine is still in its beginning stages of any formalized, organized approach to land acquistion and management. There are a few organized clubs in Maine and a few more "groups of friends". Overland Jeepers of Maine is one such organized club, NEWJO is another. I am member of the NEWJO Maine chapter and Maine Land Chair for NEA. Myself and a couple others are working a few different angles on getting access to legal areas to wheel but since we live more south of you we have been concentrating more down here in Greater Portland area. We also have a few members up in Poland, Lewiston area that are starting to poke around to see what they can come up with. Post up some more about you.
