NEA4WDC to send Spokespeople to DC Fly-in

Two years ago when the North East Association of 4WD Clubs (NEA4WDC) sent Dan Stra to the United convention in Arizona he suggested to United that they put together a DC fly-in. A lot of folks liked the idea and made it a part of their "guidance" for United's BOD. In 04 the United Delegates again reaffirmed that this was something that they wanted. United then brought it up to NAMRAC and the BRC in 04 and this idea, that originated from our small association, began catching on and planning began.

The plan is for a coordinated effort by the four-wheel drive community to visit the various Senator's and Representative's of our great nation to bring our agenda forward. The NEA4WDC will be sending Robin Chacon of NEJeep, a Connecticut resident, and Don Diamant of NEWJO, a New Hampshire resident, as spokespersons for our interests. The dates for this event are July 11-14, 2005.

Many times we have heard the question asked, "What has United done for us?" This is one facet of the answer to that question. It was from Dan Stra and the members of the NEA4WDC that this idea got rolling. Now, the question for you is, "What are you going to do to support this initiative?"

In order to help defray some of the financial burden, the NEA4WDC is seeking donations. If you can assist please send a check or money order to:

OR make a donation on-line to our pay pal account:

As of June 22, 2005 there is still a need for a spokesperson from Massachusetts. If interested please contact Scott Hatch at shatch@nea4wd.org or 774-240-5118

Again, let's not let this opportunity pass us by, let's make our voices heard!
