USAJEPOWNERS or USAJEEPOWNERS - :poke: ;)

I'm sure there was no disrespect meant - FWIW many of the clubs are abbreviated HERE on the NEA forum but when shown on websites and public flyers and what not it is written out

I'll be there with my pick up. Sierra 1500 6' Stepside. It's still "pretty" so I'd prefer not to pin strip it or smash it up too much.

Hmm, Am I the BSJ 1?

I need to ask how the tires will be transported? and to where they will go?

Reason I ask is before I ask my boss for the F350 I need to know if I should bring my work truck, 18wheeler! I understand there are a LOT of tires.

Can an abreviation be abreviated? I'd think that 'USA' would not want to be abreviated.

FTR might have 2-4 people, I don't know what they will have for trucks, I know Brian has one and I may be able to borrow one newer than Jays, paint scratches don't matter but I and not allowed to put it in 4WD, so I might need someone to do that for me :)

We will have more than enough rigs. We are going to need bodies that can move stuff. At the meetings spot we will see what we have for rigs and decide who needs to drive and who doesn't. Too many rigs and not enough pickers would be a problem. The good news here is that much of the stuff we're picking is piled for us.

The tires will be going onto trailers to get out of the woods and possibly the stake body if it shows... unless the stake body has a dump. Then we will use it for trash runs. The tires are being hauled out of the woods and into a container. Hopefully a couple of Dump trucks can handle the other trash. We can keep 2 dump trucks pretty busy.

Glebe St will be easy as far as the full size rigs to get in to get stuff out. You can run a dump truck through half of it. Rocky Woods on the other hand will require smaller rigs and many trips through. And we need to do something about the illeagal side trails also.

What ever we can acomplish in a day will be awsome. With the amount of people that are signing up to come help we should make a real noticable difference. Hopefully with this large group there on a Saturday, the "regulars" running the area will stop and pitch in; and hopefully stay proactive about keeping it clean.

I drive by that street twice a day sometimes more. I have NEVER been down it... It'll be nice to do something local. The stake body does not have a dump. I will ask tomorrow about bringing it. IF I can't use it, my truck is a long bed and has Toyo OC AT's, it'll work out well also.

This is a leagal road that we are traveling. As much as a loader might be nice, I don't think it would be a good idea. A few pick-up truck size dump trucks will be great.

Just so you know, The Off-Camber group is VERY familiar with the road. One of the guys lives almost across the street from it.

BTW, It's not looking good for the stake body, I was checking a couple things on it and I'm not sure it's up to the task. It's our plow truck and it sees a lot of abuse. My boss is also weary about it. :?

So, I will be there with my long bed 2500, I'll take my tool box off for more room.

We are transporting the tires to New Bedford after the clean up. If that stake body is available, it doesn't have to go in the woods. We have a parking lot between Rocky Woods and Gleebe st on the left. We're going to park the trailer there to stack tires on.

Do you want me to go straight there or to the meeting spot? I don't see on the satellite the lot you speak of. Rocky doesn't cross glebe.

I would like to thank everyone who attended the clean up. We hauled out over 16,000 lbs of garbage and around 900 tires. We couldn't have done this without your help.

Please let me know if you have any Pics you may have taken we can add to the clubs PhotoBucket.

Thanks again to everyone who came out, this wouldn't have been possible without all of the volunteers and their hard work.

Big props to everyone who came out to help out. There were a few lulls in the day but overall with that many people it was very productive. Kudos to Steve and Jon and the SSW crew for pulling off a very ambitious project.

Do we have a press release in the works for this? Top billing should be given to SSW for organizing it, but there were several NEA clubs represented there.
