Send your stuff to BRC

Dear BRC Member:

The BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) has undergone a lot of changes recently in our ongoing efforts to stay at the cutting edge of communication technology. You'll now find BRC on every major social network; countless enthusiast media sites, blogs, and forums; RSS feed clients, texting circles, and--of course--the world-wide-web.

Over the years, the membership and support of your organization-and that of like organizations-has allowed us to continue our efforts to preserve recreational access to public lands. So we're pleased to give something back in the form of our new Member Organization Outreach Program. As part of this program, we invite you to submit stories that highlight what your organization is doing, what you have achieved, or just talk about issues that challenge and concern you. Other good subjects are: your last event, that trail or area clean-up, or the current planning process your group is working on.

We know there are a lot of good things going on and we want to tell that story... the public needs to hear that story. The way we look at it, YOU are BRC.

Our editor, Michael Patty, will be taking the lead on this program. His goal is to create a robust networking partnership with our members and their clubs. Submissions meeting the criteria will be posted on our website, disseminated to all the social networks (if appropriate), and shared on our RSS feeds. In some cases they may also be shared with our extensive media list, enthusiast media network and other email lists.

We want you to get involved with this effort. It's pretty simple, really. Just look over BRC's guidelines for submissions, and send Michael your story!

Send submissions to:
Michael Patty
brsubmissions@sharetrails.org
(Be sure to include your organizational name and your position within that organization)

That's all there is to it! Feel free to respond to this email and let me know of your interest. But you don't have to. Your submission and your organizational membership is enough to get you started in the program.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Greg Mumm
Executive Director
BlueRibbon Coalition

PS. If you have questions, feel free to give Michael Patty a call at
