Who we are... and what we're about.

“In the Spirit of our Patriot Forefathers, we’re taking the road less traveled”

Not only are we about riding trails and discovering more of our great outdoors, we’re about participation and pro-activeness… as taxpayer, we’re about public land use politics and the legislative and state agency process. At our core, club initiatives include involvement in developing relationships and opening lines of communication with our local, state and federal governments, their agencies and other public and private recreational land use and management groups. With that, we’re a community of 4-wheel drive enthusiasts who understand that for the present and future development of our sport, there is a need to become involved in every facet of our sports growth and direction.

Most of our members reside in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We’re educated and responsible practitioners of our sport and have a deep respect and appreciation for the great outdoors. We’ve created a club that will appeal to all levels and skill of vehicle build and driver ability. We want to attract like-minded families from our area and throughout New England who share our vision of fair and balanced public land access and management. Our approach begins with mentoring our youth with regard to respecting the rights of private landowners and abiding by State Law. We continue by enlightening the public, and supporting our communities’ clubs and associations initiatives. We’re proud of this club, its membership and their accomplishments. We like to consider ourselves our community’s activists and educators… and want to pass these legacies on to our kids... welcome to Freedom TrailRiders.
