Hi Scott. George Lavigne from NEZR2 here. I'm sure you'll be dealing with a minor flood of us this week. :) Definitely sign me up for the Maine section. I'm looking forward to joining some trail building days later this summer when time allows!

I think Scott Brown is signed up on our site too. I know he knows at least one of our "Maineiacs".

Hi George!! I have met a couple ZR2 guys, one of which had a shaved head and I believe was at the 1st NEWJO-Maine meeting. I have also referred a couple of ZR2 people I have seen in Southern Maine and Southern NH to your website.

I would indeed love the help in Maine. Send me an email or PM.

Hi Scott,

I signed up awhile ago, but haven't posted since then. If you could reactivate my account when you get a chance, that would be great. I tried logging in using 'zealr2' but couldn't get in.

Thanks a million!

NEWJO is right in your area and often meets at the Deering Fish and Game or somewhere else close to you

Hi I'm Joe,

I am not currenlty a member of a club or anything yet. I have a explorer, and would like to get into wheeling. I live in merrimack, NH. I am looking for legal places to wheel. The places I used to go have since been flooded out, changed ownership, or people abusing the rules have ruined it for everyone.

I would like to get access to the NH land area. I am having a hard time finding clubs, since the only ones around here are renigade wheelers and thats not something for me.

Hi Joe,

Welcome to our humble little home. Unfortunately the areas that you wish to gain access to are restricted to the members of the NEA. These forums are the working areas for the NEA's land access teams.

The NEA and its member clubs have access to private land in NH. The NEA currently has over 14 full member clubs, check them out here:

Postby lordjoechu » Tue May 30, 2006 12:39 pm

Do you need to join a club in order to be part of the NEA? I am able to log into the main site but I don't know the details. I have nothing agaist clubs, just don't want to rush into one until I am sure I want to get into this sport. Be nice some land usage was closer to Merrimack.

Yes, this is an Association of Clubs. Membership is restricted to Member Clubs & Businesses.

There are many great clubs with (IMHO) low dues, aprox $40 per year.

Hey guys My name is Geoff Stopherd and I have just moved back to the area I am up in Kittery Me. I have been out west and was involed as a spotter for several comp terams. I am just finishing up what would have been my comp rig if I hadn't moved unexpectedly. Looking to get tied into the network and find somewhere to enjoy it.

Thanks

Geoff

Geoff your first step is to join one of our clubs. We have land that will give your vehicle a challenge. Then your second step is to go on NEA4WD.org and sign up for the Fall Crawl. I would do the extreme trails to give your vehicle that challenge. I would pick a club that suits your needs. Deepwoods extreme is a good on for extreme wheeling. They also have land their club uses. If you want to get in the loop come to our next BOD meeting in Hampstead NH on July 8th. We always need more volunteers to help cut trails.

I forgot welcome to our neighborhood.

Board Access

Postby MMVLJR » Thu Aug 24, 2006 8:33 am

My name is Gary aka X_Jeeper on my club's board, NEWJO.ORG. I live in NY and am interested in the northeast land access. But live real close to VT and MA so I'd like to keep informed on issues there.

I'm new at this land access thing and want to learn more.

Thanks,

Gary
