Volunteer Trail Patrol Training Session

Postby tammylynn » Thu Oct 11, 2007 10:59 pm

The Northeast Association of 4WD Clubs will be hosting a training session for the United Four Wheel Drive Association's Volunteer Trail Patrol Program in March of 2008. We are opening the registrations early because we have to submit the info to UFWDA so they can send the registrants their training materials in time for the training session.

Please find more info on the NEA4WDC website. If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sorry Charlie. I had mentioned the date a couple times in this thread and nobody said no so I went with it.

http://forum.nea4wd.org/viewtopic.php?t=1970&start=0

I am planning on there being more sessions in the future. My hope is that once we sit through a session maybe we can facilitate them on our own from now on. I have been speaking to Carla about that.

Ever thought of inviting some "political" people? Given the story circulating regarding the Mass Governor, and that hill with the issues...would it be in our interests to invite say...Mayors of certain towns, or State Reps in districts where wheeling occurs. Not just for MA, but all over the New England areas!?

I know a few of us BSJ'ers are looking to attend this. Thanks to the organizers putting this together.

If someone wants to take on inviting some of the high-ups that is cool with me.

If it makes it easier-if you have a few club members you can just collect and send their info together in one packet with all of their $? Just make sure all of the info that is asked for on the form is submitted because I have to send all of that to Carla.

I'll be at a work conference on that day but I did post it to Yankee Toys.

I would have liked to attend.

Yea, March 15th right? Due date for Corps, even worse than 4-15. Saturdays are big money days from Jan-April, really cannot afford to miss one.

What time should everybody be there?
Is there a room number yet? or do we just check at the front desk?
are laptops going to be able to be used in the webinar?

We want to start at 3 so 5 - 10 min before is fine.

We have a meeting room. I'm sure there will be a sign or something in the lobby directing you where to go.

If you have a laptop yes you should be able to log in at the meeting. The Hotel has wireless available in the room.

Did you get the e-mail I sent out to all of the participants last week?
I don't have a room name/number but when you arrive at the hotel you can ask the front desk or they usually have a marquee with the info.

We really need to begin promptly at 3pm so please plan accordingly. I saw there may be some bad weather tomorrow morning so please allow enough travel time. The e-mail I sent had a link to print directions.

You may bring a laptop but we will only be able to have 13 people log-in. We will be projecting the webinar so a laptop is not necessary unless you would like to have it for vision purposes.
