That applies to business sponsors and vendors. Member clubs of the NEA will fall under different parameters and smileyfish was going to be confirming that soon.

No, I could be wrong too...  I thought he had said at Saturday's meeting that clubs were welcome to set up a booth, possibly for free but he had to confirm that so I didn't think we would have to go through the sponsor form. Sorry...carry on and I will mind my own business.

 I also didn't realize you were on the committee for that.

Hey GAJR people, when are you posting instructions for volunteers or a sign up sheet or something like that?

Is there a contact person for club's that want a table? (Or use the link above for sponsors/vendors?)

Yes you can just post here if you would like a booth (You posted, your on the list) Thanks for the support. And Yes it's free to NEA clubs or any organized club for that matter. Only thing we ask is that if you want an electricity hookup you pay the $20 fee. The fair people WILL charge us so we need to pass it along. Mike, will you only need a 10x10 spot?

Also, There is a list for volunteers however I don't see it posted here. We asked on the BSJ and NE forums first and when we need to fill other spots we'll ask here. Keep a lookout for it I'm sure we'll be asking here soon. I know there are still some spots that need filling.

Thanks!

Military Vehicles

Postby Scott » Sat Aug 30, 2008 10:52 am

I have been trying to find web sites, forums, clubs etc. for Military Jeeps. I am not having much success in doing this. The one I found based in VT I think is not really up to date (web site) and the e-mail link on there got kicked back to me as no good.

Anyone got a contact with one of the clubs? Could you give them a heads up about the Rally. OR get me the contact and I'll do it. We have a nice trophy for the best one. (most likely Tim Taylor if he shows up)

We also have a special section set aside for them.

They must be jeeps, Willys & Bantam, Ford MB/GPW etc.

We would also like to get a M.A.S.H. ambulance to put down next to the working ambulance. An M171 would be super cool!

we are adding a new challenge or 2 to play on/with.
we will have both a 20* and a 30* ramp to play on.
we are setting up the rock crawl a little differant this year, we will be splitting into 2 differant groups easy and moderate.
(we are out for fun not carnage)
the vendor list keeps growing, as does the raffle prize list.

you can check out the vendors and sponsors (who donated prizes) at www.jeeprally.org

this is shaping up to be the largest one to date, hope to see you there!

THANKS!!! I appreciate it. I noticed a couple of those "clubs" have various things planned on that day. :(

I've also e-mail at least 10 people from a couple clubs and NO reply.

I hope a few of them show.

Next year I'm gonna let them know the minute we have a definite date.

Yes, ATJ will be there.
No the NEA doesn't have a "Vendor" spot but a "club" spot. BUT your "sales" would not be for "Profit" they would be benefiting the greater good of the NEA.
