Do they need any chaperones for the trip? I used to go there all the time as a kid..grandparents lived right around the corner. I went there a couple years ago and it was still the same. My favorite part is still the giant land of chocolate at the end of the factory tour.

Hershey good trip for a 6 year old?

We were thinking of heading out there and camping for a night or two.

That's what I do. I make 'em wash the YJ

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you looks at it), I'll be staying home with the boy to work on the kitchen, bathroom, and paint my trailer (definitely not in that order  ).

I'm sure at some point we men will be able to make it down. I'm sure it would be a cool trip for kids of all ages. We are heading to Minnesota this summer though. Fishing, 'yaking, and hitting the Mall of America. We'll be taking a motorhome and possibly dragging the YJ along too. I'd love to hit the Iron Range ORV area.

Hershey is definitely a good trip for a 6yo..or any age. I was around 6ish when I went as a kid. There is plenty of stuff around there too like Gettysburg and Hershey has a zoo now. If you can swing it, try to stay in the Hershey hotel or resort.
