Awesome turnout today...thanks to everyone who came out in the rain. I blew a rear brake line so finished most of the route but had to bail before my favorite road...kind of bumming.

15 full to the brim bags of food and one medium sized box along with $325 to the Hillsboro Food Pantry! :hello: $325 to Dan the Man Stonesifer who had the winning hand-a flush! Congrats Dan!!! It was really nice of Matt to give you that $20...ha ha

Thanks to all the volunteers and all those who trekked out in the rain!!! Hope you had a good time. Thanks Pat for the awesome cookies and to V and her delicious chowder.

I'll post my pics later. Got a headache again.

Congrats Dan!!!!
Awesome job on the food and money donation. I think for every dollar they can buy $3 dollars worth of food. So with the $80 we raised at the meeting and $325 today thats over $1200 in food!!!!!!
Huge thanks to the volunteers that braved standing in the rain to make today happen.

And of course to Scott, Tammy and Pat. I know they had to do some last minute work to change up the route due to circumstances beyond our control.
Made for a late night and early morning for a couple of them. Thanks for your dedication.

Thank you guys for putting together a great event. We all had a great time. Well done!

I had the intention of putting faces to s/n's today.. but, that didn't seem to happen. The rain may have had something to do with it. :D

Thank you to the volunteers that manned the stations in the rain:

Pat C
Tim
Chris
John
Marc
Doug

Thanks to Vickie Beard (even though she was probably won't see this) for the Corn Chowder, rolls, and pumpkin pie. Thanks to Tammy for the Chili and Chips. Thanks to Pat for those AWESOME cookies!!!! :D

Thanks to Tammy for the late night trip to print the directions.

Norma at the Hillsborough Food Pantry was completely blown away when Jake and I dropped off over 200 pounds of food and $325. The Hillsborough Food Pantry is serving about 300 families so everything was greatly appreciated.

Weare had an event a couple weekends ago where they collected stuff for the Weare pantry. A whole town, one of the biggest in NH, only collected $250 and I don't think their food collection was anywhere near 200 lbs.

Nice job everyone!!!

We need to get this in some papers.

Thanks to Roger this is 97% done. Just have to call the lady at the Food Pantry for a quote. Does anyone here who attended want to throw in a quote we can use? If not I will just pull from this thread.

That answers my question, if you got my e-mail.

I'd like to see a print worthy quote of either Scott or Jay. I didn't really see anything here that fit that.

I a felt it was important for our organization that uses the resources in the area give back to the community that brings us so much enjoyment. On a personal level, I fell on fell on hard times last year and had to live in a Veteran's Home. Now that I am back on my feet,I wanted to give something back.

You may want to dress that up a bit, but that is the overall statement I told Norma

That is Paul Seager's...from DWE. He is a friend of Willee's...Willard's Radiator. He's not online much so I'd have to get specs but it is a Chevy mixed breed... This truck has gone through many stages since I've known Paul.

From what I could see it was similiar in concept to Willees but not in application

I've seen Willee's rig, so I know whom you speak of. His rig is cool too.

I like his concept, but I think the execution could use a little polish. I bet the bed is heavy as hell, might actually give Kazu a run for his money. Looks like a modified version of, or a take off on a wrecker body which I've always toyed with in the back of my mind. Digging the Pitbull rockers too.

I give it 2  for thinking outside the box.

I think those are Willee's old tires. I know he ran Rocker's for awhile.

Paul's rig is narrowed too. I know it's a work in progress.

  You said willie's....

Yes. Paul's rig is almost always a work in progress. I had not seen him wheel in awhile and when I asked Willee if that was the same grey Chevy he had before, Willee...said "which one?".
But I'm sure he'll be interested in your critiquing Roger. :poke:  I think it is kind of cool in a weird dominatrix sort of way...lol
