We got another 6-8" last night in most areas. There's still a good bit of snow coverage in the woods but anywhere the sun has been hitting was bare and is lightly covered after yesterday's storm.

I want to thank everyone for coming out yesterday. Everyone I talked to in person said they had a great time.
I think Emma, Roy, Schwalby, Liza, and Pat did an awesome job cooking. Thanks to Scott, TJ and John B for leading the trails. Tammy for handling all the registrations. Overall I think it was a great success.

Thanks to all the other people who did what the people in our community do. Help those who break, get stuck or just need a spotter/heckler over some tough stuff.

See you all next year!

On a side note, I would like to Thank New Hampshire's Finest for Stopping by to check in on Pat. I think she may have gotten out of control yesterday as i saw a glimmer of the Long Island Pat yesterday.

Once Again Thanks to all who made this possible!!

What, no thanks for the saucy death ride?

I also took one for the team and came out with dish pan hands ;)

My biggest concern is - where are the PICTURES?!?!?!?!

I know I took a crap load on Tammy's camera

BTW our group had minor carnage - one BFG MT side wall on Lori's red TJ and a track bar on an LJ

Thanks Scott for being my Tail Gunner and also Ron a.k.a. Soup and Becca for carting me around

I should've given you the camera to upload the pics too. :P I came home and went right to bed...lol It was a long day and a lot of planning that came with a big relief sigh at the end with my head hitting the pillow! :)

Thanks to everyone who helped with the event. I'm not into naming names because someone is always left out or a task they did goes unnoticed. So you know who you are and what you did-THANK YOU!
We had a good turnout, wheeling was fun, dinner was delicious, and I think we made out pretty well. I enjoyed heckling Dollafab all day and reminding him if he got stuck he would never hear the end of it... And Scott Hatch is my witness that he did get hung up just a lil' bit. hee hee hee

Are people too lazy to click on a link or something? I don't remove the pics so they'll be there for awhile.

Why the issue? Its not hurting our site size wise as they are hosted elsewhere and I think "pics" of an NEA event are nice to see on the actual NEA forum instead of somewhere else,

agreed!!!! I think there should be some sort of Gallery just for NEA events. Don't need to load it up with hundreds of pics from different folks, just the cream of the crop. Say 25-50 pics per event. 8)

Speed.

I have dedicated cable line to myself at home, at work I'm pretty much the only 1 on a T1 line, and it still takes time to load all those pics. If I was on DSL or dial up, I'd be pissed if I hate wait for all those pics to load everytime I wanted to read a new post in here.

Exactly. Drives me nuts when I have to wait and then scroll down forever to see the current messages.

Just seems redundant is all. If we had a gallery it would be one thing. I have a pretty fast connection also but it still is annoying to wait for the pics to load and I can't see the end of the thread until they do.
Someone did create an NEA photobucket I was just too lazy/tired to look for the link.
Compromise: Perhaps just put the pics in their own thread.

Since the event already took place, wouldn't pics be the typical thing to be posted at this point? The fact that there is no gallery on this forum really makes it a boring information only forum. For members the info is very important, for general public with the limited access they have, its a sleeper not to mention the 3 page click just to get here.

This really is supposed to be a "working" forum. This really should be a medium for dispersing information and gathering feedback.

Most every club has their own forum to BS and entertain themselves on.

I agree we need a gallery, but it should be off the home page.

I clipped the post with all the links because I got sick of waiting for the pics to load every time I clicked on this thread.

Just make a separate thread for pics is all I was saying so that it doesn't bog down the discussion threads.

It's a very deep, heavy, and wet snow though so it would've sucked to drive through it. When we left for CT on Monday there was bare ground here and we drove home tonight to a winter wonderland..lol It just rained in CT.
