My posts were on topic and respectful - I am curious what makes this a military run? Rich doesn't have a military vehicle nor did he serve in the military....
So again, what makes this a military run?
Please remember that there is no emotional inflection in the post and not imply something that may not be the case

I think it is irrelevant whether or not he has served or owns a vehicle. I am sure there are many people who own military vehicles/accessories and are not in fact veterans. I love military vehicles and attend military shows. Should I not be allowed to because I don't own one or have not served? I've helped plan several wheeling events that I have not been able to drive a vehicle on. Should I not be allowed to because I didn't have a vehicle to wheel?
More details coming. I met a guy last year at the weare rally His name is Rich Also and we talked about a S. New England military run. Saw him on Saturday and we talked some more. He has a M38? (CJ5) and some buddys with military Jeeps .I lead a run last year up at Weare and everyone loved it. We plan to camp and I may tow my M100 behind my Jeep and then we will make camp near by at a campground.
Let me try to sum it up:
This is a military Jeep convoy though the woods with campout and
blackout/night run. It is open to WW2 and up Military Jeeps(Willys)
other ex: M38A1 , M170 and civilian Willys. We are not looking for big tires as this is going to be a mild Jeep run.
I think Rich is driving his jeep, he mentioned towing the trailer. But, I dont see why it matters what Rich drives, he is organizing and leading this event.

I'd be leading the run(s). As I did in NH at the Weare Rally after the main group headed back. THe small group I was with, had a good time and we talked about doing a S. New England run.
We have a few people signed up and are waiting on the word from the gun club about the camping. They will be putting on a dinner for us.
The route has mapped out. To be added to the list contact:
