Just another FYI...there is camping available at the Deering Fish & Game (hopefully it doesn't pour again resulting in soggy Roydoms). The F&G is also right along the Contoocook River for whatever water activities float your boat.

Tonight on WOKQ they said Saturday will be sunny, 70's, and only chance for showers is in the "north country" which doesn't include Deering. They're usually right with their weather. :) It is New England...one never knows.

Hope we get a good group..this is always a fun time.

Not a text book Poker Run but I think everyone still had a good time.

I got everyone lost, even though I marked the turn last year, and I was told 2x by 2 different people the right way to go.

Thanks to Meg drawing 3 aces for me while I was cooking, the NEA made $320 (I think that what Tammy told me. I was pretty tired by then. I really don't even remember driving home.

Maybe not text book perfect, but fun. I am so glad I fixed the AC in Lucy. It made driving home with a broken coil spring MUCH more tolerable. I'm pretty sure I know where I broke it, too. It was in the deep mud. I hit something in there that took all my momentum, tossed it under my tires with a snap, and then when I landed I had to down shift and hammer down to keep going.

Joe O - The stoopid screw driver was already put away in my glove box. I looked again when I got home. I wouldn't care but it is a nice one, with hardened bits and all that and I H8 losing $30 tools.

Thank you everybody.

So can we bail Pat out now?

Sorry I think I started the getting lost bug, but you ran with it. I had a lot of fun following you, Bob and Liza around in Tim's Jeep.

I had a few people say it was rigged, I just picked cards, you should have seen my hand or your Dad's those were horrible compared to your hand.

yea I watched you drive home part of the way, did you see the deer on the side of the road right before 89, I am adding that as well as the two dead porcupines to last weekends animal count. 2 Moose, both dead, one was just a skeleton, 3 Deer, 2 dead, and 2 dead porcupines.

Another beautiful day wheeling and I survived the Swedish Mile! For those that don't know me....that is a big deal to me. "Comfort food" really works.

Anyhoo, part of the adventure of events like a poker run is being able to find and keep your route. It's kind of like searching for buried treasure sometimes..lol But for the most party everyone seemed to have a good time and we had some good food and fun after. Thanks to everyone who made it happen and gave up the Saturday of their Memorial Day weekend to attend!

Please remember if you are on our FB page, fans can post pics so let's get some up there! :)
