GAJR 2010: Help Wanted!

Hi All, we need your help!

We at the GAJR are all volunteers, we come together each year from different clubs to help out this one day event in the grand style it deserves. We started a new forum last year to get more word out about the rally and as a way to talk to all the volunteers. Ian Johnson from Xtreme 4X4 will be returning as well as the addition of helicopter rides!

We are asking for your help, we need volunteers. We will be doing shifts so you can walk around and take part in the rally. We are hoping to be able to split it into three shifts (morning, midday and closing).
Depending on how many volunteers we get some may get two shifts in different areas so at least your not doing the same thing all day. Again, it depends on the number of you who step forward to help us make this a grand day. Remember, its all for charity!

We also need help the Saturday before to help set-up.

Please shoot me (mightymeglet) a PM or an email meg @ jeeprally.org (no spaces) with your name and any skills you can add to the rally (skills not needed) what you'd like to do at the rally (we will try our best to accommodate that request) and what time you'd like to help. If you have volunteered before I would like to know what you did before and what you would like to do. You don't have to own a Jeep to help you just can't
bring your Chevy (or any other make of vehicle) past the gate.

BTW, Volunteers receive free food on set-up day and the day of the event, that take part in a special volunteer raffles and have chances to win other cool stuff.

Thank you and hope to hear from you soon!

Meg (mightymeglet)
GAJR Co-Chair

Just to reiterate, please email meg @ jeeprally.org (no spaces) if you want to help. We post on a LOT of forums and can't keep up with forum notifications. email is best. ;) thanks!

BTW, you may not get a quick reply from Meg, she's collecting names and emails. you'll receive instructions closer to the rally. Please include shirt sizes.
