Thank you Liza and Bob for hanging at the Fish and Game to handle the registrations, all the volunteers at the checkpoints, and to everyone that came out to make this the best Fall Poker Run yet!

We collected $400 from the registrations and donations for the Hillsborough Food Pantry. We also collected as much food, if not more, than last year!

It's defintely a worth while cause - thanks to all the volunteers who made it happen :)

Sorry to say, our run ended early due to a misfortunate accident. One of guys in our group was spotting my husband and slipped on the embankment and broke his ankle :(

Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwKGY2n9gII

Here's my photos: http://s811.photobucket.com/albums/zz36/dsnoyes/NEA%20Run%20Nov%2013%202010/

Anyone that would like copies of any of the photos, send me a PM with the image #.

his ankle or his leg? or both? I didnt know you had 5 places that an ankle could break in!

I was thinking about it on the way home and it occured to me that its his driving foot. That makes this break like 100 times worse!

Susan and I and her friend Jay, with a surprisingly capable Range Rover LR3 or street tires and my friend Darin with a CJ7 under a tarp in the backyard all had a blast. Thanks so much for putting this event on!
