I can ask, but we just did an event there and THEY MOWED THE WRONG FIELD. :mad2: We'll be making some changes that people have brought up as concerns. Soda instead of beer, mowed fields so the wet grass doesn't get all rutted up as easily (although it healed up just fine), and moving spectators OUT of the staging area all together.

I was just kidding, although the Luminator did barely make it to her parking spot. :) I support the no beer decision.

If I remember, they started selling beer before they were supposed to (and I know this was dealt with by Mike) which meant there was the potential for people to consume and then drive on the trails. I'm not saying that happened but the potential for that to happen was there. I felt a little uncomfortable being at an event that had that potential, representing an organization that strongly disapproves of drinking on the trails and has had to discipline member clubs for it in the past. It's one thing if they followed the original plan and served after the event or the trails portion was over.

yup - and if it's going to be a problem it is black and white - No event.
