SSW will be holding our 3rd annual fun run on 12-03-2011. There will be a trail ride at the location where we held our 2010 "Earth Day Clean-up" departing at 11am.

Meeting Location:

Somerset, MA 02726


Our first year we filled 3 rather large donation boxes with toys from our small group. Last year we are invited other clubs. We were attempting to "Fill the Trailer". It was a very successful second year. The trailer wasn't full floor to ceiling, but it was filled up on the huge floor.

This year, we are going to once again inviting other clubs to join us.



So please bring a new unwrapped toy for donation please. If you can't attend the day of and want to donate, you can bring a new unwrapped toy to any SSW Event between now and 12-03-2011




Drop off Point will be in Somerset, MA

What are the rig requirements??? Is there a limit on how many rigs? Who to contact to signup, or is it just show and go?

No real rigs requirements, except maybe tow points, its very stock friendly. No rig limit at this time, we managed just fine the past couple years running different groups. This is kind of a show..... drop off a new unwrapped toy and go

This is getting close. Just a bump for new info.

We're having a Meet & Greet on Tuesday 11-29-2011. The tuesday night before the Toy Run.

We had our Christmas Party last year on the Thursday before our "Toy Run" last year. This year We've scheduled our "Toy Run" a week earlier. This is why the Meet & Greet is so early this year.

Where: "local" Resturant: Davenports East Providence, RI.

When: Tuesday 11/29/2011 7:30 PM

They have offered us thier large room in the East Providence location. It is very easy to get to just off of 195. The idea behind doing this on a Tuesday night is they have an awsome special on Mon and Tue night.

Meals are $10-$18 per person. Each one includes soup or salad, entre, desert (awsome Cakes and pies), and a beverage (beer included). It is more food than one person should be able to eat in one sitting.

I would also like to open this invite the others that are attending the "Toy Run" to join us.

A shot my group 15rigs total.

Thanks to all who came, we had many clubs and organizations represented yesterday. I counted 32 rigs at the drop off location, with a half dozen or so meeting on the trails.

With 45 Adults, 6 kids and few dogs we were able to over fill 2 of the very large boxes.

Just wanted to say thank you again to everyone who supported this event this year. We had a great turnout not only for the day of the event, but in some of the attending clubs memberships. Some club delagets brought bags of toys collected within thier clubs prior to the day of the event.
