New England Jeepz will be hosting a winter snow run to benefit the NEA at our RI/MA property, on Sunday February 26th. We will meet at 9am at ;

McDonald's
RT 146A 200 QUAKER HWY
Uxbridge, MA 1569

The trail is rated fairly easy/moderate, stock vehicles may need a tug, and should have skid plates. of course snow could make it harder. :lol:

the cost will be $30, which includes the ride, a decal, and an event t-shirt! after the ride there is an optional meet & greet at;

Wright's Farm Restaurant (all you can eat chicken!) http://www.wrightsfarm.com/
84 INMAN ROAD
HARRISVILLE, RI 02830

great opportunity for the southern clubs to get out in the snow and have some fun!

Delegates, please post this to your clubs!
post here with a ruff head count, so we have an idea.Thanks!

here is one of the bigger obstacles, for reference;

I May go to this! Possibly putting a plow on my trail Heep and dropping it off at my Mom's in Millville so she can plow her driveway.

i would say it is but anything. but a full size truck/suv might get body damage a few spots can be tight so be prepaired. also 4 door jks should have a small lift and tire upgrade or skid plates. we have seen acouple rip off the side steps on a stock 4 door.

the snow runs have always been public. if they meet the safety requirements, and pay, they can come.

There is a discussion thread in the Snow Run area about the usual NEA Snow Run. I had planned to continue and hopefully finalize the discussion at the meeting. A couple things to think about are there is already a pretty good turnout for this one Bob is planning and I'm not sure we'll get a good turnout for two snow runs so close together, also this is kind of what some have been hoping for...a club to pick up these events and run with them so we don't have to waste time and effort planning them.

Let's keep this discussion in the other thread so as to not distract from the planning in this one. :wink:
