march 17th

1pm

trinity baptist church. 80 clinton st concord nh

its a hunting/fishing show with 2 floors of exhibts with seminars and demonstrations. lassagna dinner and wild game potluck served at 5pm

We are doing an offroad vehicle display outside of the exhibit hall. we did it last year and had a lot of interest from people at the show. we have use of the whole parking lot. we will have the rti ramp there. if anyone wants to show off their rig please pm me. anything from mild to wild. we had videos playing last year as well.its like a mini truck show for us.

the show is pretty cool and the dinner is good. its an outreach event to get people into the church. the show is like any other show. after dinner they do a little sermon thing which is kinda churchy but not bad.

if any clubs want to participate contact me. id be open to hosting the nea trailer as well if someone wanted to tow it there and man it.

I think I mentioned this last year but I am a member of this church and attend it pretty regularly. Nobody's going to grab anyone and force them to do anything 'churchy'. It's a pretty cool thing they do with this and I'm glad they're having us back again. We have another engagement that evening but I might be there during the day.

Ryan Schneider (Ryan) has tentatively volunteered to get the trailer to this event. I think it is at Paul's right now?
If we can get the trailer there I will commit to manning it for a bit.

I think it's at Bob (Axle) Butler's. He took it after the SPC meeting.
It's a 2" Ball (The 1 Karl had donated got stolen when it was left at the other campground)
standard 4 pin plug.

looks like we will have several rigs up for this. We have an entire parking lot so please let me know if you would like to show your rig off. the event is from 1-5, but we can get rigs in and out any time if you only wanted to come up for a short while or late in the day.

This is definitly a good public relations thing. its nice to be able to talk with folks about what we do and straighten out any preconcieved notions about guys who just tear up the woods.

you never know....might be a friendly landowner with a pile of rocks there who would like us to visit!

We are also starting our winch raffle at this event. the raffle is for a warn 8k winch and we will be selling tickets until columbus day.

The nea trailer will be there! Thanks Ryan!! I can attend to set it up and stay for about an hour and then I have St. Patty's day dinner plans.
Scott....maybe you can give some tips in the moose calling session. :)

Great day and superb weather! The place was pretty much packed and there were two floors of exhibits as well as four-five rigs from Deep Woods Extreme, Inc. Huge thank you to Ryan Schneider for volunteering to pick up the trailer from Bob Butler, clean it up, tow it up to Concord for the event, and help man it for the day. He sold 3 hats, 2 shirts (bringing in $40) and we handed out a few brochures and talked to some people about joining clubs. Good day in my opinion. :) Also thanks to Schwalby and soon-to-be Mrs. Schwalby..and anyone else who may have showed up after I left.

We made $40, I'd like to give $20 to the church if nobody has any objections. They allowed us to set up for free and we had a pretty productive day considering. They even provided doughnuts, drinks, cornbread, and buffalo chili for us.
The remaining $20 will go into the Land Acquisition Fund.

DWE answered lots of questions from people who hadnt seen a rock crawler up close before. its always good to talk to the general public about what we do.

thanks to those who had vehicles there, Nate, tj, jeff, lance, steven, johny.
