I'm definitely getting some responses from unaffiliated wheelers for this so those attending from clubs will have a good opportunity to network for new members. :)

It works out that every time there is a poker run I have to work.

Hi! We're planning on going but was wondering...can anyone tell us approximately how long the run will take? We are coming up from CT - about three hours away - and are trying to plan what to do with our 16-year-old son who is working that day...any info is greatly appreciated!! 8)

The route should take about 5 to 6 hours to complete....but like any wheeling trip, times are conditional on weather, breakage, etc

Just wanted to say Thanks to everyone who came out today to help and to wheel. Most of the wheelers came up from the South Shore area so thanks for making the trek in the weather!! We had about 13 rigs and two groups. The winner, Greg Sloat, had a Straight and took home $150 and the NEA4WDC will take in $150. Not bad considering the monsoon.

Thank you to:
JFN/Honest Engine Auto Repair for the use of his shop. He had a full plate today with customers so it was super generous of him to allow us to be there to get in his way. :D
Jay for showing up to take care of the food/cooking and whatever else needed to be done. Also for providing the whiffle ball entertainment and whatever those scoopy things are called.
Scott Hatch for pre-running, marking, and coordinating the route, groups, etc.
Rafikie and Ben for being extra hands with whatever we needed at the shop today and for providing their tables!

If anyone took some pics please post them up here or on the Facebook page!

My favorite part of the poker run was when Jeremy thought the Fall Crawl shirts were going to have an olive branch with lilac's hanging off them.
LOL
