CCFW 4x4 races at Moto-X 338, Southwick Ma. - 2013 Season

Postby xjmark » Thu May 09, 2013 4:31 pm

May 19th, Sept. 15th, Oct. 20th.

Races start at 12:00 noon, Rain or shine.

Multiple classes of trucks, jeeps and buggies racing wheel to wheel on a track designed for moto-x.

Get your rig ready, and sign up for the eliminator class races. This is a class for new drivers to experience the excitement of racing, without competing wheel to wheel. http://www.cc4w.org/new-for-2012/

At the May 19th event, we will be holding a "lap for Land" race track experience.
A $5.00 per person donation will allow you to drive a lap of the infamous Moto-X 338 track in your own 4x4.
100% of the proceeds of the "Lap for Land" will go to support the NEA4WD's Land Acquisition Fund.
Vehicle requirements may vary due to the condition of the track as the race day goes on. At this time the minimum will be working 4x4, (no 2wd) 31" tires with off road tread, mild lift, and seatbelts for the driver and passenger. Driver and one passenger per vehicle. Listen to the announcer for details, and staging information.

For more info and directions: http://www.cc4w.org/ Hope to see you there.

Central Connecticut Four Wheelers would like to thank everyone that participated in the "Lap for Land". :hello:
We had nine vehicles and three passengers out on the race track. The check for $60.00 is going out in the mail to be deposited in the NEA Land Acquisition Fund.

We hope to see you out on the track at our next race on September 15th so we can send a bigger check next time.

Here's a video of the lap in the "backwoods" section of the race track.

Glad to have you there. 8) I hope you were able to get the word out about your event.
A few of the people that did the lap visited the pits after the race was over, and they said they had a great time.
CCFW will be sending the donation check your way asap.

A view of the lap in the backwoods section of the track.
