EC4WDA - Thanks

Postby jmylie » Sun Jan 21, 2007 4:50 pm

Just wanted to say thank you to the EC4WDA for their generous contribution to COALT.

Now more than ever we need to join together if we want to continue to wheel. Paragon is an example of what we can loose if we do not own it. Any trails we are currently using that we do not own could be gone tomorrow. Let's hope Paragon can work through this difficult time and continue to provide the OHV community with recreational opportunities.

EC4WDA has stepped up to the plate in supporting COALT and I want to thank them.

What contribution was made?

We haven't received any reports about COALT since the November meeting....we have asked Robin in the past what we can contribute but things were still being worked on at the time.

Not quite sure why it was posted here either. But I did notice the referance to Paragon.

Paragon Land News

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before the rumor mill starts to fly. We want to be up front with all our customers and supporters. Currently Paragon and PCA Corporation (land owner) is in legal dispute over our lease agreement for this property. We have done everything within our powers to honor our agreements with the land holding company, but they are trying to evict us from the premesis so they can sell the property. We are still in business and will remain in business as long as possible and we are fighting this with every measure available.

We know the next question is how can you help. Unfortunately, there really isn't anything you can do. We would however, appreciate everyone's hopes and prayers for a good outcome.

Thank you for your continued support.

Kyle & Stephanie Knosp

I think he may have accidentaly had us confused with NEOW:

Look here.

These were only 7 minutes apart.

Nobody said they were the enemy. I think Scott just wanted to know how we could help too.
I was trying to help Roger understand why that might have been posted here.

How about "Congrats EC4WDA and Coalt, keep up the great work, if there is anything we can do to assist let us know". :paul:

I just want to try to knock off the "my pee-pee is bigger than yours" talk before it started. :paul:

I apologize if I took this the wrong way, but that's the way I read it. :paul:

 I think you're reading something into this that was not intended....

This does remind me that we, the NEA, also approved $500 for COALT but never heard anything further about donating

I posted here because I wanted to say thanks to EC4WDA and spread the word.

As a member of Yankee Toys, I get to see first hand what a great job NEA4WDC is doing in NH. In fact, without the CT Land Use Committee of NEA4WDC, COALT would not exist. Robin got it started along with Dave Brill from EC4WDA, some CT 4x4 clubs and 1 lone Toyota club (YT)

I just wanted to post to keep everyone in the loop as much as possible. I think we can all agree that we all need to support each other.

I will try to keep the forum up to date on COALT. I have started posting in all the forums that I visit (even if infrequently) and on I8mud (mostly a Toyota forum). Just trying to reach as broad an audience as possible

BTW. if the offer for assistance is still open, it would be appreciated.

You can send the check to:

COALT, Inc
PO Box 118
Woodbury, CT 06798

Hope this clears up any mis-understanding.
