I feel the same about the Eco-Nazis. They have more power than Hitler did. Their save the earth crap is just that. They hide to behind save the earth to complete their hidden agendas.

my grandfather used to go on religously about this stuff and i always thought he was a nut, to the extent that i never wanted anything to do with politics. only recently have i gotten involved and find out im living the nightmare, the stuff he said is true. i can find so much concrete evidence of this infiltration of anti-americanism that i actually feel guilty telling people because i know if they care as much as i do, it'll really ruin their month.

the UN is that "one world government" that all anti-humanists seem to think is the solution to our problems and the gateway to socialist utopia.

Al Gore was going to be there supreme leader if he became President. I am so glad Bush used every connection that his family had to defeat Gore. Their BS would not have been as believable in the past, when the earth was still in a cold weather cycle. They had to wait for the mostly natural warmup to occur before their flawed science could scare people into giving them more power.

hoo boy.... the stuff I could show you too... I get so boiled in it, almost every day. I try not to send it out to the general populace of the 4WD community because we are fairly diverse.. However, many times I just can't help myself. I try to keep my political views out of my land use ramblings too, as people often have other interests that guide their vote more than their hobby... but... so many times, what the extreme antis are promoting through their generally democratic party allies will not only affect our ability to wheel but so many other things, even around our own homes and yards. I mean.. this whole Global Warming crock of crap has entire governments banning things like incandescent light bulbs... I mean, jeezus freeking chist..
If you haven't read it yet, go to the book store and pick up (DON'T buy it), Al's freekin Gore's 'An Inconvenient Truth" Take a few minutes to read through it and see the garbage he's tossing out.. BUT.. does he LIVE any of his own warnings..? Hell no, he has carbon credits so he's OK... Plus... He knows its a crock of crap so why should he suffer...?
Then, ask for Glenn Back's book, " An Inconvenient Book".. They don't put it out front like the others. Buy that book and read it. Funny but hits on all the lies in Gore's book... plus all sorts of other stuff, like immigration, etc.

anyway.. my rant is off... LOL

be wary of any politician or group that attempts to promote class envy, criticizes profits or tries to spread guilt for being able to support yourself.

america's government does not sell anything. every single dollar that this government has must be earned by the people and contributed through taxation. countries with oil or other vast resources are often plauged by dictators because the resource, not its people, raise the revenues for govt. the dictator doesnt have to satisfy its people because it already has the money to buy its army and oppress whoever it wishes.

that said, profits are good, dont believe anyone that tries to manipulate you into hating corporations. many liberal polticians tell poor people how unfair it is, vote for me and i'll make those rich folks pay, it'll finally be fair "i'll close the loopholes and the tax cuts for the richest americans, those evil people." they'll say something like the richest american got 160 times the taxcut that you did. but they are duping you, its a case of percents. an across the board 1% tax cut might mean $100 less for a poor person and $15,000 for a wealthy person even though its the same. but they'll tell you the rich guy made out. liberal politicians need poverty, because corporations sure arent keeping them in office.

when they say they'll close the loopholes, they're full of it. this country is run by those wealthy americans who stand to suffer from such an action. congress never voted itself a paycut. tax shelters are here to stay. instead of envying the upper class, find more ways to be like them. you'll have a better life for it.

if you punish those who create the businesses, jobs and wealth that improve life for every american by enslaving them with taxes, dont cry when the business goes overseas. thats all that "closing the loopholes" will ever do. we have a free economy, the government would make the most money by staying out of it. our founding fathers did not write the constitution with the intent of obligating americans to slave for the government, but thats what politics has created. for every new program that ultimately removes responsibilty from the citizen and places it on the government, there is a new tax to pay. throwing money at problems never solved them. we've had income redistribution that was supposed to solve poverty for over 50 years.. do you see any less poverty in america?

You're probably to young to remember what things were like in Soviet Union at its height but a government that regulates everything to make everyone equal doesn't work, it creates a system where a privelaged few keep the masses down.

which reminds me of a quote from Animal Farm

"All animals are created equal, some are just more equal than others"

i dont remember it but im a somewhat avid reader and have taken a few economy classes. among many other things, the soviet union's collapse of money had a lot to do with price fixing, meaning the creation of government imposed price ceilings and floors. they never work, for anyone.

if a private business is told a product it creates can only be sold at say $10 instead of what its worth, $30.. the demand will be too great and the losses of each sale will force the company out of business.

if the same business is told it cannot sell a product worth $10 for less than $30, no one will buy it and the lack of sales will drive the company out of business.

either way, a wheelbarrow full of money cant get you a loaf of bread or roll of toilet paper if no one can remain in business to create them.

if the government is the entity that is creating things like in a socialist state, it has no competitor and therefore doesnt have to please its market. production is slow, product is inferior. bad for everyone.
