Deep Woods Extreme, Inc was established around 1992. Since then we have grown from approximately ten members to 70 members. Our club is unique in that it is one of the few organized 4WD Clubs that accepts all makes and models of 4WD vehicles. Our club operates under a Board of Directors and a strict set of by-laws in hopes that we will promote a safe and fun four-wheeling atmosphere for any age group.
We are a non-profit Off Highway Recreational Vehicle club based in southern New Hampshire. Our organization works with landowners in order to promote responsible use of all land areas, public and private. Throughout the season, we conduct trail clean-ups and patrols to prevent damage to property, and to our environment. We carry full participant liability insurance, and offer many services to landowners.

Deep Woods Extreme, Inc.'s trail season runs from April-October and includes both day and weekend trips to land we have acquired through written permission. We also perform trail clean-ups, an annual Christmas party & parade, and we are host an annual Truck Show for all of New England and beyond to attend. Some of the local charities we support are Toys For Tots and more.

hello all

DWE has had their first meeting of 2010 with the new BOD running the show.

the biggest news to our members and any potential members is that we have decided to drop the dues from $100 to $50 per year. we believe that that amount puts us more in line with other clubs in the area, and also reflects some changes in the times and well as the clubs activities. members will still enjoy Nea memberships, tshirts and stickers, and access to DWE exclusive private land.

For 2010 we are scheudling 1 official club wheeling trip per month, and 1 semi-official camping event per month. that leaves members with 2 open weekends per month to spend with their families and other activites. that doesnt say that we are only wheeling once and month. with the access to the land that deepwoods has, impromptu throw together runs are always an option in the off weeks.

For 2010 DWE will again host our landmark truck show, with a few improvements and changes. we hope to have the official changes made by march so that everyone can make the necessary plans and reservations needed for the weekend.

DWE is also looking at hosting 2 smaller scale events near central NH. 1 along the lines of a small scale fall crawl and the other involving people drving fast through the woods and over rocks.

thats all the news that i have for now, if you want to know more you can come to our March meeting at domenics auto and jeep in hampstead nh march 3rd.

get your junk off the jackstands and come wheel with us!

On a side note, we saw some old members last night that havent been around for a season or two. we also saw some potential new members as well!

the meeting finished off with everyone introducing themselves and their rigs. it was quite entertaining! almost like an AA meeting.

i hope to see the trend of both new and old faces at club events continue!
