I was just wondering if it would be possible to have an NEA info booth at the Jam this summer - perhaps it's already the plan but just in case I thought I would bring it up.

Dunno if it is allowed under the Jamboree rules or not....

I'd be happy to man the booth

it would be cool if we had handouts and could take donations

access petitions for people to sign would be cool

just throwing out ideas....sorry if it is a moot point/redundant

You can ask Jeep Jam. I bet the answer is no. I never saw any such thing at the two Jamborees that I attended.

What do you mean about land access petitions? Permission forms? Something to give to landowners about us?

no I mean petitions to the state governments (one for VT, one for NH, one for MA) stating that the undesigned are in favor of motorized access to public lands.

I don't know about petition rules or laws or anything, but that is awesome.
Jeep dealers, 4x4 shops, clubs, Jeep Jambos, etc. Probably better than the automated e-mail responses we send to senators. Simple, to the point.
"We want you, the state dcr, to formulate a plan with a rep assigned from each petition holder >or whateva< to allow and make room for off road motorized access and mixed use off road system to accomodate our registered full size 4x4 off road passenger vehicles."

once we have a couple drawn up we can just print them out and have them with us everytime we run a booth somewhere.

I need to research how to write one properly and what do do with them once they're signed. I need a copy of 'Political Action For Dummies" :lol:
