Wheeling for Warriors June 25-27, 2021

Postby mdsracing398 » Mon Dec 07, 2020 12:22 am

I have wanted to do this event for a few years now. Well this is going to be the year!
Wheeling for Warriors
Hosted by Rockaholics

Want to make a difference in the life of a veteran?

Come out and join us for Wheeling for Warriors and help us provide support to veterans who need it.

It takes all of us to help carry the load.

The Mission:

The Mission of Wheeling for Warriors seeks to honor the service and sacrifice of combat veterans and wounded service members who served our country by providing funds to help with PTSD and other combat-related issues.

Wheeling for Warriors needs your support.

This four wheeling event relies solely on the generosity of individuals, land owners, wheeling clubs, small-businesses, and corporations for donations and financial support to carry out and expand our mission.

Your support will not only provide hope for veterans, but it will also provide resources necessary for help.

100 percent of proceeds will be donated!

We want to help as many wounded warriors and combat veterans as possible.

What is the charitable organization you are targeting for the donation?

I am still waiting for approval to use the big charity's name.
More than likely most will go to the one big one.
And a percentage to a k9 support dog charity.

Thank you to everyone that supported us!
I am guessing 80+% was NEA!
Was great seeing New England Wheeling all coming together for a weekend for a great cause!

Here are our final numbers
Copy and pasted

Good evening everyone as promised I have the total funds we raised and amounts we will be donating to Mission 22 and Operation Delta Dog.
First I want to thank Rockaholics Offroad Club for believing in my idea and helping make it one hell of an event!
Thank you to all the volunteers that made it all work.
Thank you to all the donors.
Thank you to everyone that attended without you it wouldn't of been anything.
The craziest numbers that just shocks me is that we brought in $7,930 on 6 online raffles and over $12,000 in raffle tickets at the event!
Your generosity is overwhelming!

Now to the numbers
As promised we are not taking a penny, every cent is being donated!
Wheeling for Warriors made $53,849.13
Mission 22 will recieve 75% which is $40,386.85
Operation Delta Dog will recieve 25% which is $13,462.28

Not to bad for an event run by a bunch of Rockaholics!

Next year's date and location will be announced in a few weeks!
See you all then, Mark
