OSJ's First Annual Pig Roast, Sept 29th, 2012

OSJ will be hosting our first annual pig roast in Portsmouth, RI on September 29th. The flyer below has most of the details. Not mentioned on the flyer is that following the event there will be an afterparty with camping on the site of the venue. Space is limited for the afterparty so please contact me privately for details.

Not quite. As with the proceeds from our previous fundraisers a percentage will be donated to the NEA land acquisition fund. The exact percentage and timing will be determined by the OSJ membership. For example, the membership voted to donate $1,000 from Go Topless Day and the Clam Boil towards the NEA land acquisition fund. I expect donations of similar magnitude will occur in the future.

Bump. One week to go.

Our goal is to sell at least 75 tickets and we are at 62 as of right now. Its going to be a great time. Hope to see some of you or your members there.

Bumping this one last time. 4 days to go and we are rapidly approaching a sell-out crowd of 100. Now is not the time to waffle.

The event was a huge success! Based on ticket sales, the raffle, and individual donations our treasurer estimates that between $2,000-$2,500 was raised to help preserve land for us to wheel in the future. Thanks to everyone who came out!! We are already looking forward to the 2nd annual pig roast.
